Choosing the correct brightness for your LED digital signage is crucial optimizing your viewer visual experience. A screen that is too bright will cause the viewer's eye discomfort, while a screen that is too dim will hamper the visibility of your LED screen contents.

 Here is a simple guide to selecting the correct brightness for your LED digital signage.

A) LED digital signage for indoor usage is require a min of 500nits - 1000nits brightness. ( Depend on the indoor ambient condition )

B) While LED digital signage for outdoor usage must have more than 6000 nits of brightness in order to encounter the day  time sun light brightness especially in Malaysia.

A) SMD mean Surface Mounted Device ; DIP mean Direct -line Package.
B) Both type of LED can display can use as Outdoor LED Display and Indoor LED Display.
C) However, the DIP LED consider an old type technology. DIP LED is obsoleted nowadays.

How to select Pixel Pitch on your application ?

A) The pixel pitch is the distance between 2 LEDs. The above picture shown the pixel pitch is 4mm, in short, we called it as P4.
B) The smaller pixel pitch, the higher the resolution and better image quality. 
C) Commonly Outdoor Type : P6, P8, P10
                           Indoor Type    : P2, P2.5, P3, P4
